Bob Schneider, Principal of R.E. Schneider Tax Services, is an Enrolled Agent (EA). An Enrolled Agent is a federally-authorized tax practitioner who has technical expertise in the field of taxation and who is empowered by the U.S. Department of the Treasury to represent taxpayers before all administrative levels of the Internal Revenue Service for audits, collections, and appeals.

In addition, Bob is a seasoned professional with more than thirty years of broad experience in all aspects of financial management. He has served as the Chief Financial Officer of New England Life Insurance Company and of Dental Service of Massachusetts, the parent company of the Delta Dental Plan of Massachusetts. He has extensive experience in dealing with regulatory bodies, including the Internal Revenue Service, Insurance Departments in various states, and financial rating agencies.

Bob is a member of the National Association of Tax Professionals, the National Association of Enrolled Agents, and the Massachusetts Society of Enrolled Agents. In addition, Bob is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries. He has served on the Editorial Board of “The Actuarial Digest” and has spoken at local and national actuarial conferences and at other insurance industry seminars. Bob graduated from Middlebury College.
